Soldered brass, 8 x 21 x 10, 2010.

An elongated, horizontal tabletop assemblage in soldered brass that constructs a surreal, reclining landscape of memory and subconscious fantasy. Measuring nearly two feet in length, the sculpture bridges domestic brass relics with architectural and figurative motifs, including decorative plates, a horn-like funnel, shell-shaped vessels, an open keyhole-like ring, and cast relief elements. The composition unfolds in a low, sweeping contour that evokes a reclining figure or a dreamscape horizon.
